On the road again...

This week the Allie Tour continued as she got to meet even more friends and family and we took our show on the road to Va Beach to spend time with friends from college (and coincidentally ring in Allie's 4 months of fun!). We asked that they give her a few years before going over keg-o-rators in detail, and convincing her that processed cheese is a balanced diet and everyone obliged. We had a great time in Dan and Jill's new home complete with a swimming pool in the backyard where our girl took her first dip. Allie's especially excited for her new gal-pal Lilian's arrival sometime in July. Jill and Dan will make awesome parents and the girls have started bonding already...

Don't worry, Lily. It's pretty great on this side too. Here's my number, call me and we'll dish.

This was Grammy's last week of Allie-duty and as part of her last hoorah, she snapped some totally blog-worthy pictures of some of our girl's party tricks! Allie hasn't stopped talking about how much fun she's had the past three weeks hanging out with Grammy during the day and now we have the changing of the guards and time with Grandmom to look forward to. My mom's staying with us for the next three weeks as I finish out my school year, and, conveniently, as we wait for the arrival of Allie's newest cousin, Alice...any day now!

This one's on Brady's Book Club list. It's a page-turner. I never saw the ending coming! (For those of you not up on your cardboard kids books, it ends with 'Peek-a-YOU!' and a chance to check yourself our in the mirror. Destined to be a classic.)
