It's true. Sometimes that personality gets her into trouble, but mostly it has us smiling from ear to ear. We'll take the whole package and are so thankful for it. Here's a few snapshots of that personality from the past couple of weeks...
Now that we've added a booster-seat to the collection of 'Allie Stuff,' we're finally putting our kitchen table to use for something other than a mail-collection-spot. She's a huge fan and we can actually sit down to the table together (with Abs close by for cleanup, of course).
| Abs: Your fingers are getting veeeery slippery... |
| Dinner's on me, Mom. They say a watched pot never boils... |
| But I'm winning this staring contest, buddy. |
And, of course, there's always time for dress-up...
| Borrowing Mommy's bling. It lays nicely over my belly. |
Our next door neighbor is always thinking of Allie. Her daughter, Lakshmi, is seven months younger and she's found matching dresses for the girls on more than one occasion. Here are some shots of the ladies...
| Allie sporting a very sweet Mother's Day gift from Lakshmi's mom. |
| Hah! TWINS! |
| Hey...this kid keeps raiding my wardrobe! |
Back home, Allie continues to be enamored with telephones. Here she happens to have a real one, but anything that resembles a rectangle will do just fine. We often have no clue what she's saying, but we're pretty sure she's working on being way cooler than both her parents.
| Exhibit A: The relaxed lean combined with the point and shoot. |
| Exhibit B: Clearly she gets the inside scoop on all the good gossip. |
| Well...two out of three ain't bad. |
She looks like a blast, I can't wait to get her and Coco together this summer!
