Breaking (your computer is) Bad

Phew! Alright grandparents. I can see the shakes start to set in. Have no fear, my laptop is temporarily back in working order, so the blog is back, baby, and...SO IS SUMMER! We just got back from our first beach trip this summer and, as we all know, that requires a separate, lengthy blog post, so that part is 'coming soon!' 

But before I officially started Summer, Allie, Grammy and I tried to trick ourselves into thinking it had come early by planning a girls' date to see Beauty and the Beast live at Wolftrap. Allie dressed the part in her Belle dress (courtesy of Grandmom Wintrode), and,with the help of a well-placed intermission, all three generations had a fabulous time listening to the Tale as Old as Time.

She was a little excited...

She's still growing into her Belle dress, so she did as any good princess-in-training would do, she hiked up her skirt and kept on truckin'.

Bring it, Belle!

Then, WAY back in mid-June, Grandma Kathleen Wintrode's kids and families got together for our annual reunion. Pre-pare for flashback photography...

First, Grandma and Grandpa's 'kids.' Now affectionately known as 'the Grandparents.'

Next up, the group who will probably always be referred to as 'the kids' by the first group.

And now, the real stars of the show, the 'grandkids.' But first, a few flashbacks...

2 years ago...Lukas and Allie couldn't be bothered to stay awake for the photo op.

Last year...oh, they're definitely awake for this photo op.

And finally...so grown up, we didn't even need a wide angle lens to get them all corralled in for the photo op.
