Moo-ve Over October

There was a lot going on in the month of October for the Eicholtz family. Fortunately, part of the action involved celebrating and visiting with some very special people. Recently, we celebrated the upcoming arrival of Baby Boy Miller (son to Katie and James Miller, due January of 2012) with a baby shower. We were also fortunate enough to get both a Monty and an O'Brien (Semmens, really, but old habits die hard) sighting in this month. And, of course, there's what I will claim as my real reason for not updating the blog until now...Allie's first Halloween! (And you know what happens when a week on the blog is missed...take breaks if you need them...).

Here are some of the special visitors we were lucky to see...

Brendan Hall(-oween) Montgomery, a crowd favorite.

Mama-to-be Miller. Allie tried to keep up with the belly contest, but Katie and Baby Boy Miller took first.

Happy to be reunited with her Nat...and his hat.

Allie's beside herself to finally get to meet sweet Franny.

So much so, that she gave Franny a patented 'in your face' wave. She's in.
And here's how we spend our days lately...

We hang out in the kitchen and check out our reflection.
Yep...still there.

We give kisses to the pretty girl in the reflection...

...lots of kisses.

We test for quality control on the furniture.

We help 'organize' the condiments.
We do the dishes.

We sneak in a little TV when we can.

We get dressed for Spirit Days at school. (Daddy added the headband to complete my Wacky Tacky Day look.)

We bundle up.

And sometimes we like it.

We wait for Daddy to get home.
We get SO excited when he does.
We lead the school's Costume Parade in our cow costume.

We hang out in our classroom after the parade with our school friends and Mama and Daddy.
We keep waving.

We encourage people to 'eat more chiken pleez.'
We 'udderly' enjoy Halloween.
And...on good nights...we sometimes sleep.
